MAXIMUM DEPTH :
40 meters

DEEP DIVER

The allure of depth. In diving, there is something fascinating and mysterious about exploring the deepest sites. Sometimes it's a wreck that lures you beyond 18 meters and, on wall dives, it could be a sea fan or a giant sponge. Whatever it is, to safely dive 40 meters deep you should enroll in the PADI Deep Diver specialty course.

If you have a PADI Adventure Diver certification or higher and are at least 15 years old, you can enroll in the Deep Diver course. Your training begins with a review of why you dive deep and how important it is to know your limits and includes four deep dives with your instructor.

ENRICHED AIR DIVER

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is the most popular PADI specialty. Why? Because diving with enriched air gives you more no-stop time, especially on repetitive dives. If you are interested in staying in the water longer and returning sooner, then don't hesitate to become an enriched air diver.

If you are at least 12 years old and are at least a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course. Note that, in some regions, the minimum age required is higher. In addition to nitrox equipment considerations, you'll learn why diving with air that contains more oxygen and less nitrogen gives you more bottom time. The course includes a practical session and two optional dives.

NIGHT DIVER

Diving at night can seem mysterious and yet very tempting. While you may have dived into the same site over and over again, at night you enter a completely different world and see it come alive in the light of your flashlight.

When the diurnal creatures retreat to make way for the nocturnal ones, the landscape changes completely. If you've ever wondered what happens underwater after dark, sign up for the PADI Night Diver Specialty course.

If you are at least 12 years old and you are a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the PADI Night Diver specialty course. couple and paying attention to details you might miss during the day. The course includes three night dives with your instructor.

Peak performance buoyancy diver

PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY

Excellent buoyancy control is what identifies the most experienced divers. You've seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and go up, down or hover without even thinking about it. They observe aquatic life more calmly, without disturbing their surroundings. You too can get all this.

The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course takes the buoyancy skills you learned as a novice diver and takes them to the next level.

If you are at least 10 years old and you are a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the PADI Peak Perormance Buoyancy course. The course includes two dives with your instructor.

DIVER PROPULSION VEHICLE

For scuba divers, underwater vehicles (DPVs) offer an exciting way to explore a large area in a short amount of time. They transport you through the water allowing you to glide over reefs, frolic around a wreck or zig-zag through a kelp forest. Whether you dive from shore or from a boat, a DPV is a fantastic way to explore and have more fun.

If you are 12 years of age or older and are at least a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle course. The PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle course helps you choose the right vehicle for you. You will make two dives with your instructor.

DRIFT DIVER

If you dive rivers and use ocean currents to glide, the PADI Drift Diver Specialty course teaches you how to enjoy drift diving. Even if you are underwater and using scuba gear, you will feel like you are flying. Drift diving can be relaxing and exhilarating at the same time. If all of this sounds like fun to you, then the Drift Diver course is for you.

If you are at least 12 years old and you are a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the Drift Diver specialty course.  The course includes two drift dives with your instructor.

DRY SUIT DIVER

Want to stay warm? Do you want to extend your diving season? So… dive dry. Even in surprisingly cold water, a dry suit insulates you and keeps you in full comfort. In the coldest regions of the world you can make beautiful diving and, in some areas, in the colder months the conditions are even better. Learning to use a dry suit allows you to expand your limits, allowing you to dive in more locations and more often.

If you are at least 10 years old and are at least a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the Dry Suit Diver course. The first things you will discover are the style of drysuit and undersuit that best suits you and the type of diving you do. Then, you'll learn how to take care of it all. The course includes two dives in open water, plus one in confined water.

FISH IDENTIFICATION

TOAfter a dive, one of the most frequently asked questions is: “What was that fish?” If you want to be a diver who can answer this question, instead of one who does, then sign up for the Fish Identification Specialty course. When you are able to recognize the creatures you see and identify the main families of fish and their characteristics, you enjoy diving much more.

If you have at least 10 and are at least a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the AWARE – Fish Identification course. After a dive, once you know what kind of fish you've seen, it will be much easier for you to pinpoint the exact species. For example, a Caribbean butterflyfish is similar in shape to a Southeast Asian butterflyfish, but the colors and streaks may be completely different. If you know which family of fish it belongs to, you can more easily look up the local name or, at least, give some more references to your instructor.
You will make two dives
