How can I learn to dive?

If you've always wanted to take a diving course, experience an unprecedented adventure and observe the underwater world, this is the place to start.

Get your scuba certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course - the most popular and recognized scuba course in the world. Through this course, millions of people have learned to dive and continued to discover the wonders of the aquatic world.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge development ( online , self-study or in class) - to understand the basic principles of diving

Confined water diving - to learn basic skills

Open water diving - to use your skills and explore!

Short on time? The PADI Scuba Diver course may be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you don't have much time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver level might be right for you, especially if you think you'll be diving primarily with a guide. If your final goal is to obtain the Open Water Diver certification, this course is an intermediate step.

How can I improve my diving experience?

PADI continuing education courses are designed to advance your scuba skills and give you the added confidence to continue doing what you love.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course: You don't have to be “advanced” to   to enroll - it's designed to advance your diving so you can start immediately after earning your PADI Open Water certification Diver  through various Adventure Dives, the course helps you build your self-confidence and expand your skills. As you discover new ways to have fun, you'll log your dives and develop different skills.

Each Adventure Dive may be credited as the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course. If you have already completed a specialty course, ask your instructor if this counts as credit towards an Adventure Dive.

The PADI Adventure Diver course is a subset of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. Ever wanted to try digital underwater photography, fish identification, or scuba diving in a dry suit? In this program, there is a long list of diving adventures that you could participate in. Does my patent expire? What do I do if I haven't dived for a long time?

Your PADI certification never expires; but if you haven't dived in a while, it's better to be too prepared than risk having a problem because you forgot something important. Also, dive centers like to see a recent ReActivate date on your certification card.

ReActivate is the engaging and effective way to brush up on your scuba skills. Quickly review the topics you know well, delve into those topics where your knowledge may be less strong.

What is important to know :

All participants must complete a brief medical history.

Consider some medical conditions that may be a problem for diving. If you don't have any of these, you can start. Instead, if one or more of these conditions should affect you, a doctor will have to sign a certificate with clearance for diving and confirm that he has not found any contraindications to diving. In some areas, local laws require that - before enrolling in the course - all student divers must consult a doctor.

Time Commitment

PADI courses are performance-based, allowing you to progress at your own pace. This type of learning ensures competent and prepared divers. Course completion varies from individual to individual and normally takes between 4 and 7 days.

costs

Learning to dive is comparable to other popular adventure sports and outdoor activities. You can expect to pay the same as a day of surf lessons, a weekend of rock climbing lessons or three to three hours of private golf lessons.
